Anastin's after Minnie!

Life here is changing all the time as Anastin continues to develop new skills. She is now crawling and boy, has life gotten interesting. We've quickly had to get eagle eyes to look out for everything she is now able to grab and put in her mouth. She gets a lot of entertainment from the furry member of our family. Many of you never have the priviledge of seeing Minnie, our cat, since she tends to hide anytime company comes but here is a short video of Anastin crawling towards Minnie.

Michaleigh and her big girl bike

For Christmas, Mom Mom and Pappy got Michaleigh a big girl bike. Now that the weather is warmer, she has been out practicing. Here is a video of Michaleigh riding her bike. She is still working on peddling a big girl bike.

Swimming lessons

There is one skill that we want to make sure all our kids learn and that is the skill of swimming. This year we signed Michaleigh up for swimming lessons. She is taking the Red Cross Swimming lessons through our community education program just like I did as a little girl. When she started the classes, she thought she didn't need them because, "I can swim" she would tell us. Of course walking in a pool is not the same as swimming! So for the last few weeks she has been learning how to get into the pool safely, how to blow bubbles, how to jump in, etc. Here is some video of Michaleigh at one of her first swimming lessons. Soon we will post some video of how she has improved.
